| Alright so I'm Ceci: Sixteen, Happily Taken, Hispanic, and New-Yorker ^^ I joined DA to make sure my favorites were kept someplace I could find them and to even post some of my own stuff once in a while. Honestly, I think you examined every one of those pairings so thoroughly and accurately that it just furthered my resolve in Zutara.
I especially like the point about Zuko not being able to redirect the lightning because he wasn't focused and thinking about Katara. The thing with this is though, it's also how the Avatar state works. Aang needed to give up Katara to become go into it, like Zuko and Aang need to be without trauma to redirect lightning. I swear Aang picked up a 'Get into the Avatar State free' card from Ozai or something >.>
Plus, Maiko = one very dark person + one used-to-be-very-dark-person-but-is-now-really-fun-and-has-a-sense-of-humor-and-bff-ness of course, with Toph ^^ Hey, they're interactions were all sibling-like, right? ^^
